Periodontal Care
A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in all aspects of periodontal disease, which is more commonly known as gum disease. Dr. Kim received extensive training with years of education beyond dental school to learn how to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease.
In addition to a focus on gum disease, Dr. Kim provides other periodontal services including gum grafting, laser gum therapy, root planing, and the pinhole surgical technique.
Implant Dentistry
Dental implants are a restorative treatment option for teeth that are missing or need to be replaced. Periodontists are trained in the placement of dental implants and can help make decisions about the type of implant procedure you need based on your medical and oral health history.
With surgical training and an understanding of both soft tissues (gums) and hard tissue (teeth and bones), Dr. Kim offers his patients All-on-4 dental implants and single and multiple implants.

He is also board-certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. His dual board certification makes him a unique specialist in the nation for clinical dentistry.
Dr. Kim travels to lecture and share his periodontal knowledge and experience worldwide. He is known as a master of complex cases, and he even serves as an expert witness in legal cases.
Modern Technology
Along with the full range of periodontal services, our office also provides a clean and modern facility for diagnosis and treatments. Some of our advanced dental technologies include 3D planning software, digital X-rays, and T-scan.
Dr. Kim also uses CT Scan technology, including a low green CT setting for implant surgery planning. These advanced diagnostic images allow him to improve the health and safety of our patients.
