Dr. Kim is a worldwide leader and authority figure in the world of implant dentistry and periodontics. He teaches and lectures throughout the world and spends between 50 to 70 days per year on the road in 33 different countries. Dr. Kim participates in a teaching program in Mexico for surgical training four to six times per year and leads local study clubs.

Whether you are coming in for an oral evaluation or need dental implants, we use innovative equipment and dental technologies to provide a wide range of treatments.
Digital X-rays
Digital x-rays help us capture high quality images of your teeth and jaw within minutes. Digital x-rays produce less exposure to radiation than traditional x-rays and can be viewed on a computer monitor. Dr. Kim can zoom-in on areas of concern to get a closer look and easily show you the areas that may need treatment.
T-Scan
We use T-Scan technology to diagnose bite problems digitally. The T-Scan system makes it very easy for us to detect your bite issues and make precise adjustments. An unstable bite can cause pain, broken tooth restorations, gum disease and TMJ disorder.
Oral ID
We use the Oral ID system for oral cancer screenings at our practice. Oral cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in the United States and can also be one of the most deadly forms of cancer if it is not detected early. Oral ID makes use of fluorescence technology to detect abnormal oral tissue in its earliest stages. You will need to use a special mouth rinse in our office before exposing the area to a fluorescent light to detect cancerous and abnormal tissue.
Planning Software
We use 3D dental planning software to create a virtual treatment plan when placing dental implants or performing other procedures. These software systems can help us identify anatomical structures and make it easier to communicate to you exactly what we will do during the procedure.

Dr. Jin Y Kim
DDS, MPH, MS, FACD
Dr. Kim has extensive experience in clinical dentistry, and in particular, he prides his valuable experiences in general dentistry which he experienced from 1987-1994. In that period of time, he was able to practice in private practice settings, hospital settings, and in academic dentistry, in Australia, Korea, and in California.
Richard K. Lee
DMD Board-Certified Periodontist
Dr. Richard Kang Lee is a board-certified periodontist. Before completing his residency in periodontics, he practiced general dentistry for 6 years. This invaluable experience has provided him with a comprehensive approach to dentistry and periodontics.
Kyung Hye Connie Choi
DDS, FICOI
A graduate of undergraduate studies at UCLA, and professional schooling at USC School of Dentistry, Dr. Connie Kyung Hye Choi has lived in California since her high school years. Born in Korea to a dentist father, Dr. Choi moved to the US to study as a teenager.

What types of services do you offer?
When should I be seeing a periodontist?
We encourage patients who have a family history of gum disease to make an appointment with a periodontist. For patients with heart disease or diabetes, it is important to see a periodontist for diagnosis and treatment of gum disease to reduce risk factors. If you notice any symptoms of gum disease, you should come in for an appointment.
